Influenced by her musical parentage, Laura’s singing career kick started at an early age singing in school choirs. Later while at Harvard College she sang in a successful band which lead to TV appearances and a recording contract. After moving to the UK to pursue her solo career she notched up four singles releases which gained momentum in the UK charts with airplay on Radio 1 and other major stations. Then in 2005, she deftly switched to singer-songwriter channels and released her first album “Nature’s Child.” Described as “poppy and catchy yet melancholy at the same time”, this highly acclaimed album with “lilting guitars and delicate vocals” featured regularly on regional and commercial radio.

In 2007, Laura felt compelled to record an album for her children after failing to find quality music with intelligent lyrics that could entertain the whole family. She went into the studio with her guitar and two eldest children and came out with ‘Slimy Stew’, a fantastic collection of fun, melodic tunes that will entertain children of all ages. With her beautiful voice, heartfelt music and insightful lyrics, Laura loyal fan base is growing steadily. ‘Put Your Hands Together’ is the original version of ‘A Better World’ which has been masterfully remixed for this sensational first release off the album.
